When you’re with your best friends, laughing so hard for no reason, and having an amazing time creating memories, you tend to not care what others think. Yeah you may call me a nerd, but i’m proud of who i am! I love my Robo team <3
FIRST Team 533!
“My friend and I were massive GOW fans and when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, the doctors said they weren’t sure if he would live past Christmas or not. When I heard this I bought him a pair of COG tags and I told him “Don’t you dare make me have to collect these, Brothers To The End remember?” He is still alive and kicking. I like to think the Gears helped him through this.”
“Seeing Dom die was the closest I have ever been to crying over a game. His selflessness, the song (Mad World) and Marcus’s reaction to his death made it one of the most emotional and perfect scenes I have ever witnessed in a game.”
“Everytime I get to the part where Dom finds Maria and he says, “I dont know what to do. I dont know to do man.” I break down and cry every single time. You can just see the hurt and confusion in his voice.”
“I still get emotional thinking about Dom taking his own life to save the COGs.”
“I don’t get emotional a lot, I’m not into Gears as much as “normal” fans, and I spoiled the story for myself. When I saw Dom die, I broke down.”
“I cried more when Dom had to shoot his wife in Gears 2, than when he actually died in Gears 3. Yes I’m a dude. Yes I cried.”
“When RAAM stabbed Kim with his giant sword, threw him to the ground in slow motion, and the camera zoomed in on Marcus, I knew how emotional these games would be, and it was only the beginning.”
